If you're referring to the men on these inmate's family support websites, yes, I agree there seems to be a significant number of women, and the only men are usually fathers with incarcerated daughters. It's my theory that while most women will be true to their husbands / BFs and wait for their release, that's not the case with men whose wives / GFs are incarcerated. In contrast, men will cheat on their incarcerated wives / GFs , which is why you don't see very many men on these inmate family support sites. Myself, I eagerly await my ♥ ♥ release because I find most of the eligible single or divorced women on the outside are usually FAT which I find to be a sexual turn off.
i totaly agree with you this is my second bid with my hudband and it sux but i love him so much and i am waiting for him...he knows he has a wife and daughter out here who love hom and support hom all the way through

I have been writing on prison issues since about 2002, and have written for over a dozen different prison sites, and have written a few thousand pages on my prison blogs, and in all that time, it is very, very rare, to hear from a man on prison issues (as I am a man), but I don't know if it is because men cheat... I mean, a woman can cheat on a man as a man can cheat on his woman.
But also consider that most people in prison are men, meaning there would be likely more women on line looking for support and help. I think in my over 5 years of writing, I have ran into about 5 guys that actively and consistently wrote about prison. Most people that email me about prison issues on my blogs are either girlfriends, wives or mothers, and make up about 99% of my readers.
There is I suppose a "macho" thing about a guy missing his girlfriend in prison, or wife. To be sure, there are guys that are out there that miss their loved ones, but by far, women will post and give support to one another than men. I think only once or twice did I get emails from a father who misses his son in prison.
I take offense to that fat remark. Bigger women have alot to give to a relationship and we are a turn on to men that look beyond looks.
